Bonjour! Thanks for coming back to read this newsletter today. I hope you enjoy this issue of International Updates. The main purpose of this newsletter is to give you the basics of COVID-19 today and explain the new updates I made to my website.
Top News Today:
My main update today is the Coronavirus cases and deaths around the world. I think it is very important to stay up to date on the news and how the world is changing. Globally, at 3:00 today, there are 2,464,728 cases. That number is changing by the minute. There are almost 170,000 deaths worldwide. The United States, as you all know, has the most cases in the world. A lot of people don’t know that Spain is second after the U.S. for the number of cases, but they are not anywhere close to reaching the number of cases we have.
International News Weekly Website Updates:
We have a new “opinions” feature on our home page. Every week, we will have a topic. It will sometimes be something with no definite right answer, just to see your opinions. Email me with your guess or projection on the topic. I will anonymously post the answers on my home page. Even if you don't know a lot about the topic, I would love to hear your guess! It’s a way to connect and see what other people think. Email me at sadie.grace.adams@gmail.com with your answers! The question of the week is “when do you think the United States hit a peak number of cases?”
Just so you all know, because I have online school, I will be posting a little less on my Top Stories page.
Try the form on my Feedback page!
Thank you all for reading this week’s short issue of International Updates. If you enjoyed this, don’t forget to share this article!
